The Eagles suffered a second successive away defeat, losing 3-1 to Northern Town on a blistery Saturday afternoon. A disastrous 10 minutes in the first half saw the Eagles concede 3 goals and fighting an uphill battle.
The Eagles rallied in the second half and George Woodger opened his goalscoring account arriving late at the back-post to slot home. Barton was a menace in their penalty area and Phil Courtney almost set up a frantic finish when his long range narrowly ended the wrong side of the cross bar.
